In the Empire League:

Cypress 5, Century 3--Mike Adney’s RBI double broke a 3-3 tie in the top of the seventh for visiting Cypress (12-8-2, 8-4).

El Dorado 14, Katella 0--Greg Posein had four RBIs for fourth-ranked El Dorado (19-4, 9-3).

In the Freeway League:

Sonora 9, Buena Park 1--Sonora’s Erik Estrada had a perfect game until Buena Park’s Brian Pohle hit a home run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh.

Estrada gave up two hits, struck out 14 and walked none for the Raiders (19-3, 11-1), ranked sixth in the county.

Sunny Hills 12, Fullerton 7--Kevin Ashton had four hits, including a home run, and five RBIs for Sunny Hills (5-17, 3-9).

In the Garden Grove League:

Bolsa Grande 7, Santiago 1--Gus DeLeon (7-4) pitched a two-hitter for Bolsa Grande (17-6, 7-3).

La Quinta 13, Rancho Alamitos 0--Gerald Laird hit three home runs and had five RBIs and Steve Lee (11-0) pitched a one-hitter for host La Quinta (21-3, 8-1).

In the Orange League:

Brea Olinda 7, Magnolia 6--In the bottom of the seventh, Mike Ausman hit a two-run triple to tie it, 6-6, then scored the winning run on Greg Stoddard’s fielder’s choice to cap a seven-run rally for host Brea, which beat 10th-ranked Magnolia (17-2-1, 10-2) for the second time this season.

In the Sea View League:

El Toro 18, Santa Margarita 17--Colin Stiltz’s seventh-inning home run broke a 17-17 tie to lift the Chargers (13-9-1, 7-4-1) over the Eagles (17-6, 8-4), ranked seventh in the county.

Darron Ohlwiler hit a grand slam and finished with seven RBIs for El Toro, which had a 13-run fourth inning to rally from a 10-run deficit. John Shelley had five RBIs for Santa Margarita.

Irvine 3, Woodbridge 2--Scott Zicarelli hit a game-winning two-run double with two outs in the sixth for Irvine (15-8, 9-3).

In the South Coast League:

Mater Dei 5, San Clemente 2--Kevin Mitchell hit two home runs for the top-ranked Monarchs (19-3, 12-0).

Mission Viejo 11, Capistrano Valley 10 (9 innings)--Chris Willmer broke a 10-10 tie by hitting a home run in the ninth for visiting Mission Viejo (10-12, 5-7). Willmer also had a two-run double in the top of the seventh to highlight a three-run inning, erasing a 10-7 deficit.
