SEASON AT A GLANCE: Hanson, a left-handed first baseman who signed a letter of intent with Arizona, has 24 hits, 12 runs batted, eight stolen bases and is batting .429 in 17 games. The speedy slap-hitter moved to the No. 3 spot in the lineup in recent weeks for the Lancers, one of The Times’ top-ranked teams in the region.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Hanson went nine for 12 with six RBIs and five stolen bases in four games last week. She had multiple-hits games in victories over Westlake, Simi Valley, Cabrillo and Santa Barbara.
