Outings to Catalina, Magic Mountain Set
The city’s Community Services Department will offer several excursions for middle school students this spring.
A trip to Magic Mountain is planned from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. The cost is $30 and includes admission.
Students can travel to the Encinitas Skate Park from 1 to 8 p.m. on May 23. The $15 cost includes admission and a pizza dinner.
Students who enjoy swimming and hiking can sign up for a day trip to Santa Catalina Island on June 7. The cost is $30.
A beach bonfire overnight trip will be from 6 p.m. June 13 to 8 a.m. June 14. The $25 fee includes dinner and breakfast.
Transportation and adult supervision will be provided.
All trips will begin and end at Irvine Youth Services Center in Heritage Park, 14301 Yale Ave.
