Plaza Hosts Annual Job and Career Fair
For four hours Saturday, young mall-goers at Simi Valley’s Mountain Gate Plaza will get a chance to shop for a job.
The plaza will host the city’s 11th annual Job and Career Fair, sponsored by the Simi Valley Youth Employment Service and Countrywide Home Loans.
People 16 to 22 can apply at the fair for entry-level jobs with more than 55 businesses and agencies. The businesses represented will include everything from fast food to entertainment to health care.
Admission is free. The fair begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. For more information call 522-HIRE or fax 583-6301.
