Sturtevant Falls
Chantry Flats, Arcadia — At the top of Santa Anita Canyon Road, walk along part of the Gabrielino Trail down to a spring festival of wildflowers, shady oaks, giant ferns and a 75-foot waterfall cascading into a rocky pool. Among the rewards at the canyon bottom after trekking the gently sloping trail is a tranquil picnic site, a refuge from the hectic pace of city life.
