Woodbridge junior Yon Yim will defend her Southern Section girls’ individual golf title Monday at Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs. The event starts at noon.

Yim shot four-under-par 68 on the same course to win last year. The top 40 finishers and ties advance to the CIF-Southern California Golf Assn. Championship June 3 at the SCGA Members’ Club in Murrieta.
