Orange Coast 10, Golden West 0--Chris Ponchak had four hits, including two home runs, and Travis Clutter had a three-run triple in the second inning and a two-run triple in the eighth for Orange Coast (12-24, 4-14). Eric Turner (2-5) pitched a three-hitter and struck out 11 in the first shutout of the season for the Pirates.
Riverside 3, Fullerton 2--Elliott Sarabia tripled in one run and scored on a single by Ruben Leal as visiting Riverside (30-8, 11-7) scored twice in the sixth to take a 3-2 lead.
Chris Piersoll pitched four-hitter with six strikeouts for Fullerton (19-18, 5-13), which also lost to Riverside, 13-12, in a night game Tuesday.
