Clipper update--If the Clippers win tonight, they will have won a season series from the Lakers for the second time since moving here in 1984. Guard Pooh Richardson, who has been held out of the last two games, may play because Coach Bill Fitch thinks he plays well against the Lakers.
Laker update--Victories in their final two games of the regular season, tonight and Sunday at Portland, would give the Lakers 26 road victories, matching their high in the 1990s. The last Pat Riley team, in 1989-90, also went 26-15.
