Downtown Outdoor Market Starts Tonight
Ventura’s Thursday night downtown market will kick off its spring season tonight.
The outdoor market, modeled on a San Luis Obispo event, will be held on the 400 block of Main Street from 5 to 8:30, and is sponsored by the Downtown Ventura Assn.
Tim O’Neil, president of the downtown merchants group, said there will be 30 farmers and four restaurants selling goods for the event.
The 400 block of Main, from California Street west to Oak Street, will be closed to traffic.
