Girl Shot, Killed Near Ice Cream Truck; 3 Hurt

FRANKLIN PARK, Ill. — A 7-year-old girl was killed, and a 3-year-old boy was shot in the neck while standing in line at an ice cream truck.
Two older victims were less seriously wounded in the Friday shooting in this suburb west of Chicago.
Juana Nieto was pronounced dead at a hospital. The boy, Noel Campos, was listed in fair condition after surgery.
A 17-year-old boy was shot in the chest, and a 24-year-old man was grazed in the eyelid by a bullet, police said.
