Javelin Systems Inks Marketing Agreement

TUSTIN — Javelin Systems Inc. has reached an agreement with distributor Siemens Nixdorf Information Systems’ Retail Americas Group to market Javelin’s point-of-sale computer terminals--essentially electronic cash registers.
Javelin said that under the agreement, which has a potential value of more than $2 million over the first 15 months, Siemens Nixdorf will market Javelin’s computers to retail, specialty retail and food service industries in the United States.
Siemens Nixdorf, a unit of Siemens AG that is based in Burlington, Mass., provides retail information technology and associated professional services.(Dow Jones)
