Disgruntled Worker Shoots Employer, Then Kills Self
A man described by authorities as a disgruntled worker allegedly shot his employer in the chest Monday and then used the weapon to kill himself, police said.
The employer, whose name was not released, was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he was in critical condition late Monday, authorities said.
Sheriff’s deputies were investigating the shooting, which occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 100 block of West 131st Street in Los Angeles.
The identity of the dead man was not available late Monday, and deputies said they had no additional information about the employer’s business.
