Smoking in Bed Is Blamed for House Fire
WESTMINSTER — A fire that broke out in a second-story bedroom late Saturday was blamed on smoking in bed, officials said.
No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze at 5531 Alfred Ave. that sent flames and smoke through the roof. The fire was quickly contained by Orange County Fire Authority firefighters, said Capt. Scott Brown.
The amount of damages was unknown Saturday night.
