SEASON AT A GLANCE: The senior first baseman was expected to be one of the Indians’ top players and he hasn’t disappointed. He is batting .636 and leads the region with six home runs. He has been pressed into service as a closer and has two saves.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Fabrizio hit three home runs and drove in five runs in a 9-2 victory over Canyon in a Foothill League opener. Later in the week, Fabrizio hit two home runs in an 11-1 victory over Hart, which was ranked No. 1 in the region. He finished the week six for seven with 10 RBIs. “It’s not just the home runs, he’s hitting every ball really well,” Burroughs Coach Jose Valle said.
