Laguna Hills Players to Be Honored
Laguna Hills’ state champion girls’ basketball team will be feted at 7:30 tonight in the school’s gym.
There will be a special presentation, and a music video highlighting the season. It is open to the public, and cake and punch will be served.
Players are scheduled to show up after attending the school board meeting at the district office.

Jill Black, a pitcher a Estancia, has committed to play at Wichita State, California Blasters travel team Coach Robert Melendrez said.
According to Melendrez, Black will play second base or shortstop in college.
