School Conditions
* Kudos to Lucille Renwick for her piece about the repair needs of Valley campuses (“Ailing Valley Schools Look to Bond Vote,” March 9). I have three children in Valley schools, and the nightmarish conditions they face day after day mirror many of the repair problems Renwick’s article describes.
If any business experienced these types of problems, it would address them immediately because poor working facilities translate into substandard work performance. Why then is it OK to expect our schools to produce quality minds when they’re still saddled with outdated technology and hazardous buildings?
