Sisters of Jazz to Salute Women
Sisters of Jazz Inc., a nonprofit organization, celebrates Women’s Month with an afternoon of jazz Saturday from 1 to 6 p.m. at William Grant Still Arts Center, 2520 W. View St., Los Angeles.
The Nedra Wheeler Group and the Sweet Angel Band will perform. A jam session open to all musicians and vocalists will follow.
Admission and food are free. Proceeds from beverage sales will benefit the Sisters of Jazz Emergency Fund.
