Opportunities to Volunteer

The city of Calabasas needs volunteers to hand out prizes, hide eggs and help with other events at the Eggstravaganza 1997, March 29 at Grape Arbor Park from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Grape Arbor Park is at the corner of Canwood Street and Parkville Road at the Lost Hills Road exit off the Ventura Freeway. The city of Los Angeles’ L.A. Animal Services needs volunteers to care for shelter animals, help reunite owners with lost pets and promote the adoption of homeless animals. The next volunteer information meeting will be Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the East Valley Animal Care and Control Center, 13131 Sherman Way, North Hollywood.
