Elizabeth Taylor Goes Home After Week in Hospital

Elizabeth Taylor left the hospital Saturday, a week after she entered complaining of a brain seizure.
Taylor, 65, checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on March 1. She suffered no further seizures and left the hospital in good spirits about 3 p.m., Cedars-Sinai spokesman Ron Wise said.
“Whatever it was, there was no repeat of it,” Wise said. “Her condition has been very good since she arrived, and she is continuing to recover very nicely.”
Doctors removed a benign golfball-sized tumor from Taylor’s brain Feb. 20. Taylor, who lives in Bel-Air, went home six days later but returned after complaining of a seizure.
Such seizures are common after brain surgery, Wise said.
