Workshop Covers Medicare Issues

A workshop to help senior citizens make sense of Medicare is scheduled for today at Golden West College in Huntington Beach.
The seminar will cover topics such as how Medicare works, what it covers, what it costs and what someone should know before joining an HMO.
The seminar will run from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Community Center Room 103 at the college, 15744 Golden West St. Admission is $12, or $10 with a Gold Key Card, and participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch.
