Injury Disappoints Barry

Clipper guard Brent Barry, who scored a season-high 17 points in his last game, sat out Tuesday’s game because of a sprained left ankle.
Barry, who sat out the first 14 games because of a thumb injury, hopes to return for Saturday night’s game against the Golden State Warriors.
Barry was disappointed that he didn’t get to face his older brother, Jon, a reserve for the Hawks.
“Any time you get hurt you’re upset, but this was a time when the team was starting to play well and my brother was coming to town,” Barry said.
“I was looking forward to kicking his [rear end] tonight, but I’m going to have to put it off until we go to Atlanta,” Barry said.
