A four-month project to widen Brea Boulevard will begin this week, city officials said, after construction crews were delayed because of the recent rains.
Construction will be from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and is expected to last until April. The street will be reduced to one lane in each direction during that time.
The project is designed to support the development of the city’s outdoor promenade and to improve traffic on Brea Boulevard.
