SEASON AT A GLANCE: A 5-foot-10 shooting guard, Simon is averaging 18.2 points, 2.8 assists and 2.8 steals. Along with O.J. Thomas and Charles Merricks, Simon is part of the most experienced backcourt in the Marmonte League. All three are returning starters who helped the Raiders to a 10-0 nonleague record.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Simon scored 24 points and helped hold Westlake to 14 first-half points in a 70-56 win on Wednesday. Against Royal on Friday, Simon scored 27 points and made four of five three-point shots in a 67-50 victory. In addition, he had 12 assists and eight steals, helping Channel Islands (13-3, 3-3) climb back into playoff position after a slow start.
