Clinton to Meet Press Tuesday

WASHINGTON — President Clinton will hold the first news conference of his second term next week, the White House said.
The news conference, scheduled for Tuesday, is in keeping with Clinton’s pledge last year to hold sessions with the media on a more regular basis, said White House Press Secretary Mike McCurry.
Clinton did not hold a formal news conference during his reelection campaign. His last news conference was Dec. 13.
