2 Teens Accused of Killing Son Freed
Two New Jersey teenagers accused of killing their newborn son and dumping his plastic-wrapped body in a motel trash bin were freed from jail in Wilmington after posting bail of $300,000 each. Amy Grossberg and Brian Peterson, both 18, were to remain under house arrest in Delaware until the installation of an electronic monitoring system in their homes in Bergen County. The conditions of release call for them to live at home with their families, electronic monitoring, an 8 p.m.-to-6 a.m. curfew, and a waiver of both domestic and foreign extradition. The two face first-degree murder charges for which the state has said it will seek the death penalty.
