Panel Says Goodbye to Hello

KINGSVILLE, Texas — Kleberg County commissioners have adopted a 56-year-old flea market operator’s suggestion and made “heaveno” the official courthouse greeting. The idea came from Leonso Canales, who sees something a little sinister in the traditional salutation. “I see ‘hell’ in hello. It’s disguised by the ‘o’, but once you see it, it will slap you in the face,” he said Tuesday.
