Concordia Women Rout Bethany, 126-49
The Concordia women’s basketball team easily advanced to the semifinals of the Concordia Eagle Invitational by pounding Bethany, 126-49, Thursday night.
The Eagles (9-3) shot 64% from the field to 19% for Bethany (2-6) in the first half and took a 68-19 halftime lead.
The Eagles had seven players score in double figures, led by Audre Moss with 16, Heather Carll with 15 and Angela Sather with 14. Sather and Hillary Andrew led in rebounding with 10. Kim Hernandez scored 18 for Bethany, of Scotts Valley, Calif.
