Sugar Bowl victory was latest milestone for Florida Coach Steve Spurrier. Some other career highlights:

* Florida has been ranked in the AP poll in 114 of his 115 weeks as coach.

* One of only two schools to finish in the top 10 from 1991-1996 (Florida State is the other).

* Best winning percentage in league games in Southeastern Conference history (53-6, .898).

* Fifth-winningest active Division I-A coach (93-28-2, .764), behind Tom Osborne, R.C. Slocum, Joe Paterno and Bobby Bowden.

* Before his arrival at Florida, no Gator team had won an SEC title. They have won five since then.
