Stanton Waives Banner Fees for Businesses

STANTON — In hopes of boosting sales this holiday shopping season, the city will waive banner fees for all businesses.
Merchants will not be required to pay the $150 charge to hang promotional banners for the rest of this month, December and January, officials said this week.
Business owners still must obtain permits from City Hall, however, and banners must comply with city regulations.
