As a parent who tries to instill high ethical and moral standards in her children, I applaud Chancellor Young and Athletic Director Dalis’ courageous decision to fire UCLA basketball Coach Jim Harrick. I would be proud to send my children to an institution like UCLA, where moral, ethical behavior is more esteemed than even a national basketball championship. Thank you for setting a good example for all Americans to follow.
