Few Leads Found in Golf Shop Burglary
Burglars stole more than $85,000 in merchandise from a Thousand Oaks golf shop last weekend, leaving authorities with few leads.
Ventura County sheriff’s investigators said the front door of The Club House golf shop, 3095 Thousand Oaks Blvd., was pried open between 6:30 p.m. Nov. 16 and 10 a.m. the following morning.
The thieves stole much of the store’s golf equipment, including high-priced titanium drivers and Callaway Big Bertha woods and golf bags.
An award of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the burglars.
