The revolving door in the executive suite continues at Datametrics Corp., the long-struggling Woodland Hills-based computer printer concern.
The company announced that several of its senior managers have resigned, including Sidney Wing, chief executive; John Van Buren, chief financial officer; Gerald Horwitz, senior vice president, administration, and Carl Stella, senior vice president, manufacturing.
Datametrics also said that it would lay off 35 of its 151 employees.
In October the board of directors installed Daniel Ginns as Datametrics’ chairman. Ginns has since been named acting chief executive.
In a statement, Ginns said the layoffs are part of his plan to make “a major reduction in the company’s overhead expenses to begin . . . returning Datametrics to profitability.”
