Canoga Park 28, Van Nuys 24--Kevin Carlsen scored on a 22-yard pass play from Brian Hickman with 1:29 left to play to fuel the Hunters’ come-from-behind victory at home.
With the Wolves (4-4, 3-2) leading, 17-14, in the fourth quarter, Robert Williamson returned an interception 68 yards for the second defensive touchdown by Van Nuys. Quantee Stansberry returned the kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown to keep Canoga Park in the game.
Hickman completed 15 of 24 passes for 209 yards with two touchdowns for the Hunters (5-3, 4-1), but had four passes intercepted. Carlsen had eight receptions for 136 yards and three touchdowns.
