Family of Year Nominations Taken

CYPRESS — Nominations are open for the next Cypress Family of the Year.
Nomination forms, available at the Cypress Recreation and Park District office, 5700 Orange Ave., must be returned by Oct. 18.
The winning family will be picked by a volunteer citizens’ committee.
The City Council will announce the selected family Nov. 25.
Nomination forms have also been distributed to churches, sports organizations, parent-teacher associations, clubs and businesses, a park district spokeswoman said.
