Guidry Might Miss Michigan Game
UCLA cornerback Paul Guidry is already being called “questionable” for the Bruins’ game at Michigan on Sept. 28.
Guidry, who also returns punts, suffered a bruised thigh in a 44-0 victory over Northeast Louisiana on Saturday. Andy Colbert replaced him.
The Bruins will get a long weekend, practicing only four days this week, with tackle Chad Overhauser, their most experienced lineman, being held out of heavy work after suffering a “stinger” Saturday.
Tight end Mike Grieb, who suffered a sprained ankle in the season-opening loss at Tennessee after catching five passes, and freshman tight end Gabe Crecion, a pass-catching threat, are likely to play against Michigan.
