Junior Kadrina Coffee, the runner-up in the 400 meters in the 1995 USA Track & Field Junior championships as a Palmdale High freshman, has transferred to Playa del Rey St. Bernard.
Coffee ran a personal best of 53.96 seconds in the USATF Junior meet and later placed third in the 1995 Pan American Junior championships in Santiago, Chile.
She began attending classes at St. Bernard on Monday and will join a track team that includes senior Malika Edmonson, the defending state champion in the 100 and 200.

Three players from the region are starters for the UC Davis football team, which plays Cal State Northridge tonight at 6:05 at North Campus Stadium.
Linebacker Ted Corcoran, a Chaminade High graduate, returns for his senior season after leading the Aggies in tackles. He is a defensive captain.
The others are offensive tackle R.J. Starr, a freshman from Thousand Oaks High, and kicker Mike Ellis, a junior from Ventura High.
Brad Fullmer, a Montclair Prep graduate, hit three home runs in four games in the Eastern League championship series this week, leading double-A Harrisburg (Pa.) to a three-games-to-one victory over Portland. Fullmer, the Expos’ second-round pick in 1993, was promoted to double A in August.
