These teams usually play thrillers. Last year, Troy defeated Rancho Alamitos, 21-19, behind the running of Larry Montgomery. But Montgomery graduated, and this year Rancho Alamitos appears to have the edge at running back with the trio of David Vickers, Leo Kosi and Alex Blanco. However, Rancho Alamitos quarterback Taylor Yandell is untested. Expect Troy’s defense to test him.
