Appointment Made to Child-Care Panel
Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky has appointed North Hollywood resident Jonathan Zasloff to the county’s Child Care Advisory Board, the supervisor’s office said Wednesday.
“As a staff attorney in the Child Care Law Project at Public Counsel--one of our outstanding local public-interest law firms, and the nation’s largest pro bono legal services center--he [Zasloff] has gained a great deal of knowledge and experience in child development and child-care issues,” Yaroslavsky said in a statement.
Zasloff, a 1993 graduate of Yale Law School, holds a master’s degree in international relations from Cambridge University and graduated summa cum laude with honors in history from Yale in 1987.
He also served a year as a law clerk for U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Michael Boudin in Boston.
The 19-member Child Care Advisory Board includes planning, promoting and facilitating expansion of affordable and accessible child-care services in Los Angeles County through various public and private partnerships.
