Willie Brown Returns to Help Out
Former Trojan receiver Willie Brown is back on Howard Jones Field.
Brown, 54, was USC’s leading receiver in 1963. He played for the Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles, and was a USC assistant coach for eight seasons.
Now retired, he has volunteered to work on special projects for Athletic Director Mike Garrett and to become a player advisor for the football team.

Freshman center Eric Denman from Dallas, who injured a hamstring early in preseason camp and sat out several weeks, is back and seems to be moving up quickly on the depth chart. He has had some snaps this week with the first team.
