Price Is Right to Take Over Girls’ Basketball Program at Taft
Brandy Price has been hired to replace Stephanie Blin as girls’ basketball coach at Taft High, Athletic Director Jim Woodard said.
Blin resigned after learning that four players, including three starters, were planning to transfer to Kennedy.
Price, who has not coached before, is the Toreadors’ fourth coach in as many seasons.
Taft was 20-1 last season and advanced to the City Section 4-A Division quarterfinals.

The Bryans, 18, recent Rio Mesa High graduates headed for Stanford, qualified for the U.S. Open main draw by winning the junior national championships earlier this month.
They will also compete in the U.S. Open Junior championships following the U.S. Open.
