Poor Children Offered Free School Clothes
- Share via
The Fullerton Assistance League is issuing new uniforms to needy children for the start of the new school year.
Through its Operation School Bell program, the league has donated school clothing for the past several years.
Uniforms are a first this year, league member Marilyn Sutton said, because several schools, including Pacific Drive Elementary School, are requiring students to wear them now.
Money for the project comes from donations and from sales at the league’s thrift shop.
Donations are still being sought for the new school year, league officials said. Information: (714) 693-1730.
