CORONA DEL MAR — Comprehensive Care Corp. said its managed-care unit, Comprehensive Behavioral Care, signed an exclusive three-year contract with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas to manage mental health benefits for the Texas Star Medicaid Program throughout Texas.
The new business should boost the company’s revenue about 10% in the next 60 days, said Chriss W. Street, Comprehensive Care’s president. The company said it expects to initiate coverage of about 80,000 Blue Cross Blue Shield subscribers in the next two months.
The company reported revenue of $24 million for the fiscal nine months ended May 31.
