Animal Shelter Will Be Dedicated Today
Residents of San Clemente and Dana Point may attend a dedication ceremony today for the cities’ new animal shelter.
The first occupants moved last month to the 6,300-square-foot facility, which has 48 dog runs, three big cages for cats and several large exercise areas.
Operating expenses are shared by San Clemente and Dana Point, which have a joint agreement to use the facility.
The 9 a.m. ceremony will be followed by an open house at the shelter, 535 Avenida Fabricante, San Clemente.
