McGinest Knocks Peete Out of Game

Rodney Peete was knocked out of the game just before halftime and the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the New England Patriots, 37-10.
Peete, a former USC player, was injured when the Patriots’ Willie McGinest, another former Trojan, hit his knee on a play in which Peete passed to Chris Jones for 22 yards.
Peete completed six of 11 passes for 48 yards.
The Patriots’ Drew Bledsoe was 14 of 21 for two touchdowns in the first half. Ben Coates caught five passes for 65 yards, including a 25-yard touchdown reception that made thescore 14-0 at halftime.
