Garcetti to Speak at Chamber Luncheon

Los Angeles Dist. Atty. Gil Garcetti will visit Cal State Northridge on Thursday for a special function hosted by several San Fernando Valley chambers of commerce, organizers have announced.
Sponsored by the Chatsworth, Northridge and Granada Hills chambers, Garcetti will speak at a luncheon at CSUN’s University Club.
Garcetti was elected district attorney in 1992 after defeating former boss Ira Reiner. He will face Deputy Dist. Atty. John Lynch in a run-off for the job in the November election.
Thursday’s event will begin with a networking session at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will follow at noon. The University Club is located on Dearborn Street west of Zelzah Avenue.
