The quirky, low budget 1994 lesbian romantic comedy by Rose Troche, introduces us to a close-knit group of young women living in Chicago. Troche and company have an amusing but sensitive take on human nature and a consistently original and witty way of expressing it. (Guinevere Turner, pictured left, with V.S. Brodie) (Cinemax Wednesday at 11 p.m.).
