Ruotolo’s 3 Goals Pace the Splash

Raffaele Ruotolo scored three goals in the fourth quarter to lift the Splash to a 7-5 victory over host Sacramento on Sunday in the title game of the CISL Challenge Cup.
The Splash trailed, 3-1, at the half but scored three goals in the third quarter, including two by P.J. Powloski. Doug Neeley also scored first- and third-quarter goals for the Splash.
Ruben Fernandez had 11 saves for the Splash, which beat Seattle, 9-1, Saturday in the first round.
The Splash starts the regular season at home June 14 against Dallas.
