Services Set for Actor John Beradino

A rosary for actor John Beradino will be said Friday at 7 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Church in Beverly Hills, with funeral services scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Paul the Apostle Church.
Beradino, a former major league baseball player who switched to acting and starred on “General Hospital” for 33 years, died Sunday in Beverly Hills at age 79.
In addition to his wife, Marjorie, and their children Katherine Ann and John Jr., Beradino is survived by two daughters from his first marriage, Cindy and Toni, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family has asked that any memorial contributions be made to the John Beradino Baseball Scholarship Fund at the USC Athletic Department, Heritage Hall 203-A, Los Angeles 90089-0602.
