SEASON AT A GLANCE: Rauth, a 6-foot-4 swing hitter, helped Harvard-Westlake win its 11th consecutive Mission League championship. He leads the Wolverines with averages of 5.4 kills and 1.4 blocks going into a Southern Section Division I semifinal tonight at 7 against top-ranked Mira Costa at Redondo High.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Rauth had 36 kills in a quarterfinal victory over Esperanza and 16 kills and 11 blocks in a second-round sweep of Santa Barbara. “Without any hesitation, Jason [Morrow, the Wolverines’ setter] knows that if he goes to Rick, he will terminate,” Harvard-Westlake Coach Jess Quiroz said. “Rick’s a go-to guy.”
