Broken Gas Pipeline Closes California 126
A long stretch of California 126 was closed for more than five hours early Tuesday because of a gas leak, officials said.
The road was closed between California 23 in Fillmore and Interstate 5 in Los Angeles County from 2 to 7:40 a.m., officials said.
A gas pipeline broke after water from a ruptured water main eroded the ground around it, according to officials with the California Highway Patrol.
